5 HOT tips for choosing your baby's christening theme!

Christening Tips!

Choosing your baby's christening/baptism theme can be confusing and time consuming. After all, you are looking for a unique theme that will excite everyone and will look good in pictures.  Usually, the sex of the baby dictates the theme. Nevertheless, apart from your baby's sex there are other factors to consider.

READ Vion Anthosparton's 5 tips to help you make the right decision:

  1. SEASON - According to the season that the christening will take place, the theme can be inspired from that specific season. For example, if it's summer it can be a Nautical/Marine theme or if it's winter then a theme like Ice Skating or Frozen (Disney) might be more appropriate.
  2. BABY'S FAVORITE TOY OR CARTOON CHARACTER - Babies always have their favorite toy or they like to watch a specific cartoon character on TV. If, it's a boy it can vary from Bob the builder to Cars or if it's a girl it might well be Little Princess or Red Riding Hood.
  3. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - The location that the christening will take place, can give you some great inspiration for a unique theme. If, it's in Miami for example a jungle fruits or crocodiles theme might very well suit the scenery. Or, if it's in Detroit a car maker theme (Cadillac, Ford Mustang) will be more appropriate.
  4. MEANING OF YOUR BABY'S NAME - That's a tricky one. If your baby's name has a meaning it might be cool to get some inspiration and create a fantastic theme for the christening. For example, if your baby's name is Angela, a theme related to Angels might be a great idea. Or, if your baby boy's name is Alexander then, maybe, a Greek theme of the Great Alexander will definitely get viral on Facebook.
  5. THINK OUT OF THE BOX - Let your imagination run wild. If, you love traveling then a theme "Travel the World" might impress more than you think. If, your like VESPA motor scouters then an Italian-VESPA theme would leave everyone, invited to the christening, speechless.
