Tips before choosing your baby's name

Finding a Christian name for your boy or girl can become a challenge for new parents. Traditionally, a baby would take the name of one of their grandparents but that's not the case nowadays, as more and more couples decide to go with a more neutral name for their baby, so that they won't upset any members of the family.   

A few tips before you choose:

• Don't choose a name that might embarrass your kid later in his/her life.
• Avoid complicated names that might have to be spelled or enunciated a few times to be comprehended. 
• Avoid names that can be turned into nicknames easily.

There are hundred's of websites that provide information and the roots of almost every name from ancient Greek to modern names, that you can choose from. Do your research and select with caution. Let's not forget Johnny Cash's song "A boy named Sue"!
